Earrings, bracelets, necklaces ... I love to make them all. Swarovski crystal beads bring sparkling colors and visual texture to my jewelry designs. Czech Republic glass beads offer rich deep colors, with individual 2-tone Czech beads often possessing unique color shading within the clear glass of the bead. For warm colors, I like to make bracelets from the natural beauty of obsidian and jasper beads.

Rose Quartz and Swarovski Earrings

Rose Quartz drilled chips, natural (not dyed) from a 36 inch strand. Rose quartz chips size range approximately 3 to 10mm chips in one strand. Rose Quartz ranges in color from muted pinkish white to a soft light rose. Ones I used are B grade chips.

Length 2.5 inches, not including earwire

Material list:

Sterling Silver 20 gauge Fish Hook Earwires and clear plastic ear nuts. I use the clear plastic ear nuts to make sure I do not lose the earring when I am wearing fish hook ear wires.

Outside dangles: Sterling silver 2mm BALL end, .027' thick, 1.5 cut down to appropriate length. Note the two outside dangles are slightly longer than the center one.

Inside (center) long dangle:
Lightly plated silver (2 inch length, .028' thick) eye pin cut down to appropriate length. You can use a head pin, just snip the flatten end off and use needle nose pliers to make an eyepin.
Short (ending) dangle: Sterling silver 2mm BALL end, .027' thick, 1.0 in length cut down to appropriate length for the 4mm Silk 5301 Swarovski and the Rose Quartz chip.

Inside (center) long dangle:
Lightly plated silver (2 inch length, .028 foot thick) eye pin cut down to appropriate length. You can use a head pin, just snip the flatten end off and use needle nose pliers to make an eyepin.

Short (ending) dangle: Silver Plated flat end headpin, 1 inch in length cut down to appropriate length for the 4mm Silk 5301 Swarovski and the Rose Quartz chip.
