Earrings, bracelets, necklaces ... I love to make them all. Swarovski crystal beads bring sparkling colors and visual texture to my jewelry designs. Czech Republic glass beads offer rich deep colors, with individual 2-tone Czech beads often possessing unique color shading within the clear glass of the bead. For warm colors, I like to make bracelets from the natural beauty of obsidian and jasper beads.

I found these beads on sale at a craft store, grabbed just enough to make the earrings and necklace.

Earring is made by sliding the three beads onto a headpin then bending the wire to make the shape I wanted.

Material list for earring:

The earwire is made from a 3-inch long (.028' thickness) gold plated headpin

1- painted pink glass bead is about 5/8 inch in length
2- 6mm Silk Swarovski bicone 5301 crystal bead

The necklace has two different patterns each on a 3 inch headpin

The four beads that I used in the necklace are:
-- 5/8 flat oval shape glass bead with a light pink shading
-- 6mm Silk Swarovski bicone 5301 crystal bead
-- 4mm crystal clear Swarovski round bead AB finish
-- 5/8 inch painted pink glass bead

The necklace gold plated chain pieces are each three links, each link about 1.5mm in length

To end this necklace, I used three inches of this chain on both sides of a lobster clasp.

The overall length of the necklace is 30 inches.

First pattern, I made four of these:
6mm Silk Swarovski bicone 5301 crystal bead
5/8 inch flat oval shape glass bead with a light pink shading
6mm Silk Swarovski bicone 5301 crystal bead
4mm crystal clear Swarovski round bead AB finish
6mm Silk Swarovski bicone 5301 crystal bead
5/8 inch flat oval shape glass bead with a light pink shading
6mm Silk Swarovski bicone 5301 crystal bead

Second pattern, I made five of these:
5/8 flat oval shape glass bead with a light pink shading
6mm Silk Swarovski bicone 5301 crystal bead
5/8 inch painted pink glass bead
6mm Silk Swarovski bicone 5301 crystal bead
5/8 flat oval shape glass bead with a light pink shading

To assemble the necklace:

lobster clasp

3 inches of chain then first pattern

3 links of chain then second pattern (has the painted pink bead)

3 links of chain then first pattern

3 links of chain then second pattern (has the painted pink bead)

This is the middle front of the necklace. Once the necklace was assembled I put a slight curve into the headpin wire to make this necklace gently flow

3 links of chain
first pattern

3 links of chain

second pattern

first pattern then 3 inches of chain hooked to the lobster clasp
