Earrings, bracelets, necklaces ... I love to make them all. Swarovski crystal beads bring sparkling colors and visual texture to my jewelry designs. Czech Republic glass beads offer rich deep colors, with individual 2-tone Czech beads often possessing unique color shading within the clear glass of the bead. For warm colors, I like to make bracelets from the natural beauty of obsidian and jasper beads.

Using a broken chandelier drop Silver color loop drop with loops removed and an added Swarovski 4mm bicone 5301 crystal bead

I purchased these silver color chandelier drops. They had three dangle loops which easily broke off when I started to hang dangles! Annoyed at purchasing useless drops I got to thinking and decided to snip the other two dangle loops off. Then I used a rasp to smooth off the snipped outter edge of the drop. There was a drilled hole right under the top loop. So I used a ball-ended head pin to hang an Amethyst Swarovski® 4mm bicone in the center of the drop.

Overall length excluding platter earrings: 0.75 inches

Material list per earring:

Silver plated leverback earwire

Silver color chandelier drop (in this case with dangle loops removed due to loop metal being so soft that a loop broke off)

Sterling Silver 1-inch long ball-ended headpin

Dangle bead is a Swarovski® 4mm Amethyst 5301 bicone crystal bead
